Goals continue to be hard to come by for the North Okanagan Knights.

The Knights dropped their fourth consecutive Kootenay International Junior Hockey League game Friday, falling 5-0 at the Enderby Arena to the Okanagan Shuswap Division leading Osoyoos Coyotes.

The Knights, who have scored just three goals during the four-game skid, played in Kamloops against the Storm Saturday. The Storm lost 9-5 Friday to the Kelowna Chiefs.

Player of the game Austin Steger had two goals for the Coyotes, who led 2-0 and 3-0 by periods.

Goalie Daniel Paul made 35 saves to earn player of the game honours for the Knights, who are 0-2 in games at the Enderby Arena.

The third and final regular season game slated for Enderby will be Wednesday, Jan. 11, against the Kelowna Chiefs.

In other action Friday, Vernon’s Kaden Black had 2+1 to lead the Chase Heat to a 4-3 win over the 100 Mile House Wranglers.

Vernon’s Scott Latwat scored once in a losing effort as the Beaver Valley Nitehawks dumped the Golden Rockets 10-3.
