Senior batters are ready to hit some home runs.
The Vernon and Area Senior Slo-Pitch League season starts May 2 for ladies 40 and over and men 50 and over.
The co-ed morning league has reduced the ladies age from 45 to 40 this year.
“The thought being many ladies work different shifts at their jobs, but still may wish the chance to play a little drop in slopitch,” said Stephen Feedham, league president.
Games take place Tuesdays and Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the DND grounds in Vernon and Salmon Arm fields. The season runs until July 31.
