Tigers take 2-1 series lead

Jake Pelletier scored four times as the Vernon Sun Valley Source For Sports Tigers grounded the Armstrong Shamrocks 11-7 Saturday night at Kal Tire Place.

Vernon leads the Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League best-of-five semifinal series 2-1. Game 4 goes tonight, 7:30, at Nor-Val Sports Centre in Armstrong.

The fifth game, if required, would go Wednesday night in Vernon.

The winner meets the defending champion Kamloops Venom in the best-of-five championship series starting Monday, July 17 in Kamloops. The Venom swept the South Okanagan Flames, taking the third game by forfeit.
