Jane Skrypnek

A journalist with Black Press Media since 2020, I spent my first two years digging into community news in Victoria before moving on to my current provincial reporting role, based in Vancouver. I also worked as a summer staffer for The Globe and Mail in 2023.
I grew up in Alberta, in a small town located between Calgary and the Rocky Mountains, did my journalism degree at Carleton University in Ottawa and spent a year in Quebec before heading out to B.C.
