Carnival gives teens some free fun in Vernon

Evening of free games, activities, music, and snacks slated for Friday, May 26, at rec centre

The Vernon Winter Carnival Society is reaching out to a younger demographic.

Carnival will host Teen Night on Friday, May 26, from 6-9 p.m. at the Vernon Recreation Centre.

The event is open to those aged 13-18.

Teen Night will feature gym activities, games, music, and snacks, all of which are free of charge.

Those who want to take in the Vernon Aquatic Centre will see a 2-for-1 youth admission rate of $5.65 for two people.
