Drum circle rumbles its way to Vernon

This all-ages event will take place on Friday, Nov. 3

The rumble of drum beats is coming to Vernon.

On Friday, Nov. 3 from 7-9 p.m., a by-donation drum circle will take place at the Trinity United Church Narthex room (3300 Alexis Park Dr).

The event is open to all ages, regardless of experience level.

Lyle Povah and the Drum Run team will be on hand, with all instruments provided.

Povah is an endurance athlete and marathoner, who is running and drumming in over 20 cities across the province. Called the Drum Run Adventure Tour, the two-month fundraiser is promoting health and well-being.

Volunteers are welcome at 6 p.m. to help set up and stay from 9- 10 p.m. to assist in packing up.

All funds raised will go towards the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Other drum circles are set to take place in Kelowna (Friday, Nov. 3) and Penticton (Sunday, Nov. 5).
