Car crash on hwy 97 closes lanes

Officers are directing traffic around the incident that closed lanes heading toward Armstrong.

4:50 p.m.

What appears to be a two-car crash resulting in a roll-over on highway 97 by Swan Lake Nurseryland Fruit Market & Garden Centre has both lanes heading out of Vernon closed.

The incident allegedly took place around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.Anyone driving out of Vernon towards Armstrong can expect major delays.

Fire fighters and police are on scene and are directing traffic around the incident. Injuries of drivers have not yet been disclosed.
