Sidney/North Saanich RCMP confirmed a woman reported missing while visiting Victoria has been located and is safe.

Patricia Nzuza, 55, arrived at the Victoria International Airport on April 15 and a missing person alert was issued April 24. Nzuza’s family was concerned for her health and well-being.

Police were in contact with her April 25 and confirm she is safe, Cpl. Andres Sanches told Black Press Media.

In a statement, police said there would be no criminal investigation and out of respect for privacy, no further information would be shared.
