Rail trail on wrong track

I’m continually puzzled by the lack of initiative to support college and university students, as well as those who work in the Okanagan 365 days a year. Consistent indulgent and illogical moves, such as the recent rail trail, show that municipal governments in the Okanagan have zero drive to improve infrastructure, and in turn, economy.

Fence Out

To the driver of the BMW who crashed through our fence on Fletcher Avenue in Armstrong in December, accidents happen, although I’m not sure how you drive off a straight, residential, fairly snow-free road and crash through a fence.

Hospital Hill

It was when I was studying in college that I remember learning that if I wanted to impress my opinion, I needed to back it with fact.

Editorial cartoon

The April 12 Morning Star editorial cartoon claiming to show slower current B.C. economic growth compared to the NDP decade, commits the sin of omission and is factually misleading.

Tolerance must prevail

I attended the session about Islam and I fully concur with every aspect of your article on this event, including the absence of our community leaders, except for two high ranking RCMP officers.

Not working

I am being bombarded with election ads in this newspaper from MLA Eric Foster, in which he proclaims, “Working for you.”

Electoral reform

It’s too bad he’s a lame duck and can’t do a thing about it, except complain just like anyone else. With our false majority government, the Liberal Party of Canada will do anything it wants just like the previous Conservative government did.

Veterans honoured

Since 2014, the government of France has been awarding its highest medal, the Legion of Honour, to Canadian veterans that participated in the liberation of France in 1944.

Upper Room Mission

I really connected with the letter from Sam Zaharia about the Upper Room Mission.
