Election

As interesting and unusual as the results are for the provincial election, they still come nowhere near a true reflection of the voters’ wishes. If the number of seats won matched the percentage of popular vote, the Greens would now have 14 members in the Legislature.

Flood frustration

A question we all should be asking our elected members of Parliament in Ottawa is, “When did the borders of Canada change to Ontario and Quebec?”

Pickleball plans panned

The headline on page three of the May 5 Morning Star should have read, “Pickleball courts moving ahead without consultation with the local community.”

In response

So the truth hurts.

Election drags

Why do we have to wait for days before finding out who has won the provincial election? The system is ridiculous.

Grateful couple

We are writing from the heart to a young man that paid for our food on a Thursday night at Burger King.

A great education

Today’s children face an economy that is far different from the ’50s, ’70s or even ’90s. Multiple career changes, numerous location moves and demands for continuous learning are the mainstay of today’s economy.

Look to Victoria

This is in reaction to Leona Bird’s letter in the March 31 edition dealing with Lyme disease and her frustration with Mel Arnold regarding his failure to react to an unnamed bill and unnamed legislation.
