A private citizens poll was recently circulated to homeowners in the Rise community to garner input regarding secondary suites and short-term rentals that are beginning to appear in contravention of the current Resort Residential zoning.

I recently broke my hip (curling in Enderby) and was in need of surgery. Transferred from Salmon Arm to the Vernon Hospital, I was operated on that day after regular hours (if there is such a thing for doctors) by Dr. Paul Dooley.

Another Halloween is on the books.
